2. Booking & Scheduling

  • All moves are subject to availability.

  • Same-day or urgent move requests will be honored when possible but are not guaranteed.

  • A deposit may be required to reserve a moving date, especially during peak seasons.

  • Changes to your moving date must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled move will receive a full refund of any deposit paid.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may result in forfeiture of deposit or a cancellation fee.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Pricing is provided based on hourly rates, flat-rate estimates, or specific service packages.

  • Final charges may vary based on actual time, materials, distance, or additional services used.

  • Full payment is due upon completion of the move unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • We accept major credit/debit cards, cash, or pre-approved checks.

5. Insurance & Liability

  • We are fully licensed and insured to handle your move.

  • Basic coverage is included as required by law, but this may not cover the full replacement value of items.

  • Clients are encouraged to purchase third-party insurance for high-value or fragile items.

  • We are not liable for items not packed by our team unless there is visible negligence during handling.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate move details (addresses, item list, stairs, elevators, etc.)

  • Securing necessary parking permits or loading/unloading permissions

  • Being present during the move or designating someone with decision-making authority

  • Securing valuables, cash, and personal documents (we recommend you move these items personally)

7. Storage Services

If you use our storage services:

  • Items must be listed and labeled clearly

  • We are not responsible for perishable, hazardous, or prohibited materials stored in our units

  • Storage fees are billed monthly and must be paid on time to avoid late fees or access restrictions

8. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

While we strive for punctuality, Top Arlington Movers is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Traffic, weather conditions, road closures, or accidents

  • Building access issues or elevator malfunctions

  • Incomplete or inaccurate move details provided by the customer

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of:

  • Unsafe working environments

  • Abusive or inappropriate behavior toward our crew

  • Hazardous items or illegal substances being moved

  • Unreasonable or unlawful demands

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Top Arlington Movers be liable for:

  • Loss of profit, loss of use, or special damages

  • Damages caused by third-party contractors not under our control

  • Items of sentimental or irreplaceable value

Our liability is strictly limited to the terms outlined in our service agreement and insurance coverage.
